THE BAND

Limited Express are a young band from Melbourne blending influences from reggae, roots, ska and rock, with the youngest member only 12 years old and the oldest 16. 

Since forming in late 2013 playing Irish-folk covers supporting their parents' band, they soon took an interest in funk, reggae, roots and soul music, and won the Scarlet's Prize (2013) to record their debut EP, "Red Dressed Man". They have since played countless shows at bars, pubs, and festivals around Melbourne. A live set is a mix of light, summery tunes, and mellow, slinky ones, with rocking jams and fierce horn solos thrown in for good measure - all built on a love for the rhythms and vibes of reggae and ska music.

When not gigging, we can be found busking in the Melbourne CBD! We love busking, and did it for many years before officially forming as Limited Express.
